FEES POLICY
Each year the ICS School Board reviews the fee structure as part of the budget process. Accordingly the fees for 2010 have now been finalised. The Board's mandate is to ensure that the school is managed responsibly to remain a vibrant and viable organisation for the future, while continuing to provide quality, accessible Christ-centred education in the Illawarra.
Whilst the Board is mindful of the financial pressure many families are facing, the Australian Government stipulates that schools must increase their fees each year. Fee increases have been structured to try and ensure that no individual family group bears a disproportionate share of the increase.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Parents are required to give at least one full term’s written notice of termination of enrolment (including Prep). Failure to do so will render them liable for the payment of one quarter of the annual fee unless there are mitigating circumstances that are acceptable to the Board of the Association. It is essential that all families ensure that fees are paid when they are due.
Annual Fee Payments: SPECIAL OFFER
If full year’s fees are paid by Friday 14th December 2009 a discount of 5% will be given. OR If full year’s fees are paid by the 12th February 2010, a discount of 2.5% will be given.
Quarterly Fee Payments: one quarter of the annual fee is due by the end of week two of each term.
Weekly, Fortnightly or Monthly Fee Payments: these fee payments must be distributed evenly across the year. So for example in 2010 one quarter of the annual fees need to be paid by the end of Term 1, half of fees paid by end of Term 2, etc. It is the school’s strong preference that all families go on a Direct Debit arrangement for payment of school fees for 2010.
