Tongarra Campus of Illawarra Christian School is located in a delightful rural setting in the Calderwood Valley at Albion Park. Tongarra caters for approximately 470 students from Prep(4 year olds) to Year 12 in a community that endeavours to educate children in a Christian environment where each student is given the opportunity to excel.
The positive partnership between parents and school, the dedicated teaching staff and supportive peer relationships create a wonderful learning environment where all students are encouraged to fulfill their God given potential through Christ-centered, Bible-based education.

Illawarra Christian School, Tongarra Campus works in partnership with parents and care givers to provide a safe, encouraging, welcoming Christian environment where students are given the opportunity to exercise their giftings and learn in a situation where they are loved and nurtured. Our qualified, dedicated and experienced staff all seek to bring out the best in their students and to prepare them for life beyond school, to be able to make a difference in whatever vocation or life choices that they make.
We have an outstanding track record of academic excellence and providing for the needs of the individual students with a range of academic abilities. We provide opportunities for students to excel in sporting and cultural pursuits while encouraging them to be mission minded in their outlook.
Illawarra Christian School values and encourages the participation of parents and care givers in the education of their children. There are many and varied opportunities for parents and care givers to be involved in the school. The number of volunteer helpers around the school has often been commented on by visitors to our Campus.
Our approach to education has been valued by many families.
