Tuesday 26th March dawned bright and sunny for our annual Nebo house fundraiser. Students wore colourful mufti clothes and enjoyed a BBQ lunch as they raised money towards some of the many needs of people living in Butembo, in the very troubled region of the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Illawarra Christian School congratulates ex-student Emily Edwards (ICS ’17) on her inclusion in the prestigious Young Writers Showcase 2017 anthology!
From 31st July to 10th August, 11 boys from Kosei Junior High School in Tokyo (accompanied by their teachers) came to join us at Illawarra Christian School and experience something of life in an Australian family and school.
On Monday, the whole school came together in the colours of the Cambodian flag to raise funds for Cambodian children.
2018’s Bike for Bibles was a huge success, raising just on $15K for the Bible Society Australia’s work improving literacy outcomes for African women and girls.
