Year 1 enjoyed an in-class party this week as they farewelled Mrs Stacey Lowcock, who heads off on maternity leave at the end of this term.
It’s an exciting time in Year 1 because Mrs Lowcock is about to have a baby! Her Year 1 class are going to miss her in Term 4, but they’re pretty excited about the impending arrival. We asked Mrs Lowcock to give us the lowdown on how she’s feeling as she and husband Shane approach parenthood for the first time.
Do you know what you’re having (or would you rather not say)? Have you chosen names?
We have no idea if we are having a boy or girl but YES we most definitely have names picked out (including future children) … that part was easy!
What are you looking forward to about the next term?
What is something you’ll miss about teaching in your time off?
What can the school community be praying about?
Please be praying:
- For both Shane & I as our family grows- that we would parent well.
- That I adjust to this new season of life well, from one full-time job to another very different full-time job!
- Pray for patience/contentment as we eagerly await the birth of our child … An uneventful, smooth labour is most welcome 😉
We wish the Lowcocks well as they head into this new adventure together—and we’ll be sure to keep you updated when the new arrival makes an appearance!
