Sport

Our sport program encourages genuine effort and enthusiastic participation.
Sport

We consider sportsmanship, respect for others and fair play to be essential aspects in competition as students honour God by striving to do their best.

All compulsory sport is conducted during school hours. Optional after-school training is available for students wishing to improve athletics skills or prepare for particular sport events.

Junior School students enjoy a weekly sport program. In K-2 our focus is on developing coordination and motor skills, as well as an intensive Learn to Swim program. Year 3-6 students also participate in local inter-school competitions, as well as swimming, tennis, gymnastics, and surf and beach activities.

From Year 3, students enjoy inter-school sport, gala days, and swimming, athletics and cross-country carnivals. They have the opportunity to represent the school at zone, CSSA state, CIS state and All School state levels.

Secondary students take part in a range of sport electives and gala days, including tennis, aerobics, swimming, cricket, surfing, futsal, basketball, netball, touch football, volleyball, dragon boat racing, hockey, biathlon, triathlon and soccer.

In summer students participate in the Royal Life Saving Australia program at various levels, including the Bronze Medallion.
